PAM Jaya is targeting piped drinking water service for all Jakarta residents by 2029, when coverage stood at 83.59% as of September 2026. The water utility owned by the DKI Jakarta provincial government said it has 1,214,635 customers, a 13,089-kilometer pipeline network and production capacity of 23,422 liters per second. To expand household connections, PAM Jaya is involving RT, RW, LMK and Dasawisma officials. It gave recognition to 52 representatives from 15 urban villages for their contribution from January-December 2025. In Pulogebang, East Jakarta, the highest award reached Rp100 million. At the same time, the Central Jakarta city government and PAM Jaya are socializing a minimum consumption policy of 10 cubic meters per month to encourage residents to switch from groundwater to piped water and curb land subsidence.
