PA Bandung approves Ridwan Kamil's adoption of Arkana
The ruling orders the Bandung Civil Registry to note the adoption in the register and Arkana's birth certificate.
PA Bandung granted Ridwan Kamil's petition to legalize the adoption of Arkana Aidan Misbach as his child. The order appeared in the PA Bandung case-tracking system on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in case number 729/Pdt.P/2026/PA.Badg. In the court copy, the judges declared the adoption of Arkana, who was born in Bandung on 28 February 2020, valid. The panel also ordered Ridwan Kamil to submit a copy of the ruling to the City of Bandung Civil Registry Office so the adoption status can be entered in the register book and birth certificate. CNN Indonesia reported that the petition was filed in June.
