Ollie Watkins joins Al-Hilal in £51 million move from Aston Villa
What's next: Villa lose their record Premier League scorer after he made himself unavailable for the season opener.
Ollie Watkins has completed a reported £51 million transfer from Aston Villa to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, ending a six-year spell in Birmingham. The 30-year-old England striker signed a three-year contract after scoring 91 Premier League goals for Villa, a club record, and 108 in all competitions. Watkins had two years left on his contract but left before the transfer window closed after making himself unavailable for Villa's 4-0 loss at Brighton in the league opener. Last season he scored 21 goals in all competitions and helped Villa win the Europa League under Unai Emery, their first European trophy in 44 years.
