Nvidia to raise AI server prices by more than 15% for some buyers

What's new: Bloomberg reported the increases would hit systems shipped next year as memory-chip costs keep climbing.

Nvidia plans to charge some of its biggest customers more for servers built with its artificial intelligence chips, with many price increases topping 15%, Bloomberg News reported Saturday. The higher prices would apply to systems using Nvidia platforms including Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell, with the exact increase varying by chip generation and memory configuration. Bloomberg said the changes are expected to affect systems shipped next year. The report linked the move to rising memory-chip costs, a key component in Nvidia’s GPU-based AI systems, as demand for AI infrastructure remains strong.
