Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to meet President Donald Trump at the White House on July 28, according to Netanyahu’s office, marking another high-level meeting as tensions rise over Iran. Netanyahu will leave for Washington on July 27 and, during the trip, also plans to attend the funeral service for Sen. Lindsey Graham, whom his office described as a friend of Israel. Since Trump returned to the White House in 2025, the two leaders have met six times. Their relationship has long been close, but it has shown signs of strain in recent months as disagreements sharpened over the handling of the war with Iran and negotiations over an Iran deal.
