State takes over former Hotel Sultan in GBK after court ruling
PPK GBK will next open a worker data post and prepare plans to use Block 15 Senayan assets.
The government carried out the eviction and took over the former Hotel Sultan in Block 15 Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, on Thursday, based on a ruling by the Central Jakarta District Court. Deputy State Secretary Minister Juri Ardiantoro said the asset, which PT Indobuildco had managed for about 50 years, has now returned to the state. The takeover covers the hotel, apartments, and other assets in the area, with support from Polda Metro Jaya, Kodam Jaya, and local governments. Pusat Pengelolaan Kompleks Gelora Bung Karno and the State Secretariat Ministry will manage the assets in line with state property rules. The government has also opened a post to register permanent, daily, and PKWT workers, and is coordinating with the Manpower Ministry on their rights.
