Naturalization of 2 Indonesia national team prospects awaits DPR letter

PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said the naturalization process for two heritage players for Timnas Indonesia is still awaiting an official letter from DPR leaders to the government. After the letter is issued and the approval is brought to a plenary session, Mitchell Baker and Luke Vickery can take the oath as Indonesian citizens. Erick said the ratification in DPR is expected to take place on Monday or Tuesday, then be forwarded to President Prabowo Subianto. After a meeting in Hambalang, Kabupaten Bogor, on Friday (19/6), Erick also stressed that naturalization will be carried out alongside grassroots development and the cultivation of local player talent.
