Sen. Mitch McConnell remains in a rehabilitation facility and will miss Saturday’s Fancy Farm political event in Kentucky as he recovers from a June 14 fall that briefly left him unconscious. His office released a statement from the Office of the Attending Physician saying McConnell is undergoing multiple physical therapy sessions each day and is still not medically cleared to leave rehab and return to the Senate or Kentucky. McConnell said he is working to resume his full schedule. ABC reported he has not appeared on Capitol Hill since June 11. McConnell has said he plans to complete his Senate term, which expires in January, but will not seek reelection.
