Marc Marquez wins Aragon MotoGP sprint, beats Alex

The 11-lap win gives Marquez a stronger starting point for the main race as he looks to cut into this season's title gap.

Marc Marquez won the MotoGP Aragon sprint race at MotorLand Aragon in Spain on Saturday after beating his brother, Alex Marquez, and Marco Bezzecchi, who finished third. Bezzecchi briefly led from pole position, but Marc moved into first place midway through the lap. Alex then took advantage of Bezzecchi running wide in a corner to move up to second. In the 11-lap race, Marc kept his lead to the finish, while the Marquez brothers pulled away on the final lap. In the main Aragon GP, Marc is scheduled to start second, behind Bezzecchi and ahead of Alex. The sprint result kept the Ducati Lenovo rider in contention in the 2026 MotoGP title fight.
