Manchester United held 0-0 at Everton in Women's Super League

What’s new: United stretched their unbeaten run to 10 matches in all competitions but missed a chance to gain ground in the WSL race.

Manchester United were held to a 0-0 draw at Everton on Saturday in the Women’s Super League, dropping points in a flat performance that denied them a chance to move closer to the top three. Everton, still without a win in 15 WSL meetings with United, had the stronger first half and created their best openings through Ornella Vignola, whose efforts were saved by Phallon Tullis-Joyce. United improved late and nearly stole it when Jess Park sent Elisabeth Terland through on goal, but Courtney Brosnan made the save. The result extended United’s unbeaten run to 10 games in all competitions, while Everton took a point from an encouraging display at home.
