Manchester City agree €100m move for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi
What's next: The 18-year-old was pulled from Lille's matchday squad and is set for a medical before the deal is completed.
Manchester City have agreed a deal worth up to €100 million for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, a move that would push the club's summer spending close to £200 million. The package is reported as €95 million plus €5 million in add-ons. Bouaddi, 18, was left out of Lille's Ligue 1 game against Angers on Sunday ahead of a medical, with the transfer expected to be finalized in the next few days. The Morocco international started five of his country's six World Cup matches this summer as Morocco reached the quarterfinals. He has made 88 appearances for Lille since debuting in October 2023, shortly after turning 16, and helped the club finish third in Ligue 1 last season.
