Mama Sinta seeks LPSK protection after filing complaint over Pesta Babi

LPSK is assessing the threat level, psychological condition and evidentiary value before deciding what protection, if any, to provide.

Indigenous Marind-Anim women leader Yasinta Moiwend, or Mama Sinta, applied for protection from LPSK on Friday, June 5, 2026. The request is tied to her complaint to Polda Metro Jaya after the documentary film "Pesta Babi" showed her face without permission. LPSK said it has begun an initial assessment to hear from the applicant and determine what protection is needed, including physical protection, psychological support and procedural assistance. The review also covers the level of threat, the psychological condition and the importance of the testimony in the legal process. Earlier, Mama Sinta's report was registered at Polda Metro Jaya on May 29, 2026, on suspicion of violating the Personal Data Protection Law.
