Majalengka Gentengisasi program ships 2.4 million tiles
The delivery used about 600 trucks and involved 34 Jatiwangi MSMEs whose products passed SNI testing.
The Gentengisasi program in Majalengka, West Java, began distributing 2.4 million roof tiles on Sunday (8/11). The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas sent the shipments in stages from the Jatiwangi area using about 600 trucks. The program involves 34 local MSMEs that produce rakyat roof tiles. All products shipped have passed testing and received Indonesian National Standard certification. In ANTARA documentation, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait attended the distribution event. A day earlier, Polres Majalengka deployed 500 personnel to secure a planned visit by President Prabowo Subianto for the program launch. The Gentengisasi program is aimed at boosting the rakyat roof-tile industry and supporting healthier housing.
