LPDB pushes cooperatives to drive Pekalongan's creative economy
LPDB opened a revolving-fund coaching clinic to help cooperatives and KDKMP secure productive financing more easily.
LPDB Koperasi is encouraging regions to develop the creative economy through cooperatives, with Pekalongan cited as an example of strengthening culture-based businesses. The message was delivered by LPDB Koperasi President Director Krisdianto when he opened Pekan Kreatif Nusantara 2026 at GOR Jetayu in Pekalongan, Central Java, on Thursday (18/6/2026).
The event, held June 18-21, showcases regional flagship products, UMKM, cooperatives, the creative economy and the Festival Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih. LPDB said cooperatives can expand market access, financing and capacity building for business actors, including artisans, culinary entrepreneurs, fashion workers and artists. During the event, LPDB also opened a Coaching Clinic for Dana Bergulir Financing for cooperative managers, KDKMP administrators and business actors.
