Liverpool draw 2-2 with Forest after Muñoz's late equalizer
What's new: Nottingham Forest led twice at Anfield through Dan Ndoye and Morgan Gibbs-White before Liverpool hit back.
Liverpool twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at Anfield, with Víctor Muñoz scoring a late equalizer to rescue a point. Forest struck first when Dan Ndoye finished after Morgan Gibbs-White set him up, and the visitors threatened repeatedly with their pace and direct play. Liverpool responded through Alexander Isak, but Forest went ahead again through Gibbs-White. Muñoz then leveled for Liverpool, denying Forest what would have been a third straight Premier League win at Anfield. The result leaves Andoni Iraola still waiting for his first home league win as Liverpool manager after another match in which his side were exposed defensively.
