Leeds beat Tottenham 1-0 as Okafor scores late winner
What's new: Jayden Bogle stayed on after a four-minute VAR check despite catching Mathys Tel, who went off injured.
Leeds United ended a five-match Premier League winless run by beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Elland Road, with substitute Noah Okafor scoring the winner in the 79th minute. Harry Wilson set up the goal after Daniel Farke reshaped his side during the second half, helping Leeds seize control after a largely even first period. Tottenham's afternoon turned on a first-half challenge by Jayden Bogle on Mathys Tel. After a lengthy VAR review, officials took no further action and Bogle was not sent off. Tel could not continue because of an injury to his left foot. Spurs then faded after the break and rarely tested Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford.
