The aid will move through partner networks in Egypt, Turki, Yordania, and Palestina.
NU Care-LAZISNU PBNU launched Palestina Fonds 2.0 during the 35th NU Congress in Jombang, East Java, to revive a fund-raising movement for the people of Palestina. The program refers to the Palestina Fonds initiated by KH Abdul Wahab Chasbullah at the 1938 NU Congress in Menes, Banten, with the approval of KH M Hasyim Asy'ari. PBNU Deputy Secretary General Ginanjar Sya'ban said reactivating the movement repeats NU's historical commitment to the struggle for Palestina. LAZISNU PBNU Chairman Habib Ali Hasan Al Bahar said humanitarian aid will continue to be collected and distributed through partner networks in Egypt, Turki, Yordania, and partners in Palestina.
