Lawyer RM Napitupulu dies after alleged jump from 46th floor in South Jakarta

Lawyer RM Napitupulu was found dead after allegedly jumping from the 46th floor of an apartment in Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Saturday (18/7) at about 11:20 WIB. Polda Metro Jaya said the victim fell on the balcony of the 2nd floor of Hotel The G. Based on witness statements and CCTV footage, the victim was said to have arrived alone at Apartemen Master Piece, then headed to the gondola rail area on the 46th floor before falling. Polsek Metro Setiabudi has examined the scene and is now investigating the chronology and motive. Police are also still verifying information circulating on social media about an alleged family relationship between the victim and lawyer Hotman Paris.
