Taylor Swift song for Toy Story 5 breaks streaming record

Taylor Swift performed her original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night local time. The song, which she wrote and co-produced with Jack Antonoff, also set an immediate streaming record, ABC News reported, as the biggest country single on Apple Music so far in 2026. In the Andrew Stanton film, the track is written from the perspective of Jessie, the cowboy character voiced by Joan Cusack. Toy Story 5 follows Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie as they deal with a technology disruption in the form of the Lilypad tablet in the home of their new owner. The Pixar film is scheduled to open to the public on June 19.
