KSSK cuts Indonesia's 2026 economic growth forecast to 5.4%-5.5%
The new outlook is below August's 5.6%-6.0% range, though KSSK still sees third-quarter growth supported by consumption, exports and investment.
The Financial System Stability Committee has cut its forecast for Indonesia's 2026 economic growth to 5.4%-5.5%, down from its August estimate of 5.6%-6.0%. At a KSSK news conference in Jakarta on Tuesday, Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara said the domestic economy was still seen as resilient to global pressures. KSSK expects third-quarter 2026 growth to remain solid, supported by domestic demand and non-oil and gas exports. Household consumption is also expected to get a lift from fiscal stimulus, while the APBN is being maintained as a shock absorber through subsidies, compensation, social protection, food price stabilization and job creation. Investment is also expected to stay strong on downstream projects and infrastructure development.
