KPK Detains 4 Suspects in Pemalang OTT, Including Seconded Officer
The case is split into two clusters, with cash of more than Rp2 miliar seized in raids in Jakarta, Pemalang and Purworejo.
KPK detained four suspects after a sting operation tied to Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro, including Setya Budi Dias Oktavianto, a Polri member seconded as an administrative staffer at the anti-graft agency. The other three suspects are Anom, Mohamad Haris and Lilik Budi Suprianto. KPK said the case is divided into two clusters: alleged extortion by Anom against Pemalang regency officials and private parties, and alleged extortion of Anom by KPK personnel. In the July 29 OTT, KPK arrested 21 people in Jakarta, Pemalang and Purworejo; 12 were brought to Jakarta for questioning. Investigators also seized cash of more than Rp2 miliar and sealed off several locations, including the regent's office.
