KPK rejects Raja Juli gratuity report, probes Kuansing role
KPK said the envelope from the Kuansing regent was tied to alleged bribery over posts and forest-area release.
KPK did not pursue the gratuity refusal report filed by Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni over an envelope from suspended Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby. KPK prevention and monitoring deputy Aminudin said the report was rejected because the reported object was already linked to a corruption investigation, under Article 14 of KPK Regulation No. 1 of 2026. Even though the prevention route was closed, investigators are still examining Raja Juli's alleged role in the Kuansing case. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said that in the case framework, money collected by Suhardiman from several parties was then given to the minister. KPK previously named Suhardiman, Kuansing regional secretary Zulkarnain, and PT Mitra Ideal Consultant director Ardiles as suspects in alleged bribery over posts. Suhardiman is also suspected of receiving other gratuities tied to the release of Limited Production Forest areas.
