KPK probes use of Wisma Atlet units in customs bribe case
The inquiry came through questioning a manager on Aug. 7, after the case widened with two new investigation warrants.
KPK is tracing the rental and use of several units at Wisma Atlet Pademangan, Jakarta, in the expanded corruption case at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Finance Ministry. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the inquiry was carried out by questioning a manager as a witness on Aug. 7, 2026. Investigators are using the witness account to determine who used the units and how they are tied to the case. The case began with a sting operation at Customs and Excise that ensnared six suspects, including Rizal, Sisprian Subiaksono, Orlando Hamonangan, and private parties from Blueray Cargo such as John Field. On July 21, 2026, KPK expanded the case through two new investigation warrants; a day later, KPK confirmed one of the new suspects was Gatot Heroe Hernanda.
