KPK opens door to questioning Perry in BI-OJK CSR fund case
Perry Warjiyo's exit from Bank Indonesia does not automatically trigger a summons; investigators will decide if his testimony is needed.
KPK is considering questioning Perry Warjiyo in the investigation into alleged corruption in the distribution of BI and OJK social responsibility funds. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said witness summonses are determined by investigators' need to obtain testimony, not solely because someone has left office. The case involves the use of funds from the Bank Indonesia Social Program and the Financial Services Extension Program in 2020-2023. KPK said the general investigation has been under way since December 2024, based on analysis by PPATK and public complaints. Investigators also searched the Bank Indonesia building on Jalan Thamrin on 16 December 2024 and the OJK office on 19 December 2024. On 7 August 2025, KPK named Satori and Heri Gunawan as suspects.
