Kowani explores Scout guidance after Hari Pramuka 2026 in Cibubur
The women’s group next plans talks with Gerakan Pramuka on whether it can form a community-based Sako/Sakoma.
Kongres Wanita Indonesia (Kowani) has begun exploring stronger Scout guidance after attending the 65th Hari Pramuka and the opening of Jambore Nasional XII 2026 at Bumi Perkemahan Cibubur, East Jakarta, on Friday (14/8). Kowani Chairwoman Nannie Hadi Tjahjanto said the move is aimed at supporting character education, youth leadership development, community service and national unity. She said the 2026 Hari Pramuka theme on food self-sufficiency toward Indonesia Emas 2045 aligns with Kowani’s agenda on food security, family issues and women’s empowerment. After the event, Kowani will consult with Gerakan Pramuka structures to study the possibility of guidance or forming a Satuan Komunitas Pramuka (Sako/Sakoma) based on the Kowani community.
