Komjak monitors Tim 9, urges Kejagung to focus on Febrie case
Komjak watched witness and suspect examinations in the Febrie case as DPR pressed new Jampidsus Kuntadi to move it quickly.
Komisi Kejaksaan RI monitored directly the handling of the alleged corruption and money-laundering case involving former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah at the Kejaksaan Agung in Jakarta on Wednesday. The monitoring was led by Komjak Chairman Pujiyono Suwadi and received by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin. According to Komjak spokesman Nurokhman, the team observed the examination of witnesses and suspect DR alias Don Ritto by nine investigating prosecutors. Komjak also asked Tim 9 to remain focused on strengthening the evidence. At the same time, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni urged new Jampidsus Kuntadi to prove the independence of the prosecutor’s office and speed up the handling of the case. Previously, Polri named Febrie a suspect in the PT Asabri case for the 2020-2024 period before the investigation was transferred to Kejagung.
