Komisi II DPR summoned Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian as well as regional heads and deputy regional heads in a working meeting and RDPU at the DPR building in Jakarta on Thursday to discuss remuneration for regional leaders. The meeting, held during the recess period, also covered the structure of revenue-sharing funds and efforts to increase local own-source revenue. DPR Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad also attended, while participants from the Association of Indonesian Regency Governments and the Association of Indonesian City Governments also joined the meeting, some virtually.
