Kepri PPPK heir receives Rp 832.8 million TASPEN benefit
The payment covered Rp 649.56 million in treatment costs and Rp 182.99 million in work-related death benefits despite only six months of coverage.
Nurijah’s heir, a PPPK at the Secretariat of the Riau Islands Provincial DPRD, received TASPEN Work Accident Insurance benefits totaling Rp 832.87 million after Nurijah died in a traffic accident after work on 10 July 2026. The amount consisted of Rp 649.56 million in treatment costs, Rp 182.99 million in work-related death benefits, and Rp 312,8 thousand in contribution refunds and Old Age Security benefits. TASPEN Corporate Secretary Henra said the size of the JKK benefit is not determined by the length of participation, but by the type and impact of the work accident. TASPEN added that coverage also applies to accidents during trips from home to work or the other way around.
