Kementerian PU completes 222 SPPG buildings in 30 provinces
Their handover to BGN is under way, and each Makan Bergizi Gratis kitchen may be inspected before it goes into use.
Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum has completed construction of 222 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) buildings in 30 provinces, including underdeveloped, frontier and outermost areas. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo said the location of the Makan Bergizi Gratis kitchens was determined together with Badan Gizi Nasional and Kementerian Dalam Negeri, while Kementerian PU handled land surveys and accelerated construction. The SPPG assets are now being handed over to BGN, and each facility may be inspected before it is officially operated. In the 3T region, two SPPG were built at Pos Lintas Batas Negara Wini, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara, and Pos Lintas Batas Negara Motamasin, Kabupaten Malaka, Nusa Tenggara Timur. The buildings are equipped with a main kitchen, washing area, warehouse, clean water network and wastewater treatment installation.
