Kemenko PM opens job access to Japan and Germany via Kebumen expo

The June 24-26, 2026 event targets PMI candidates, vocational students and university students with language classes and official job matchmaking.

The Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment will hold Global Talent Day and the Kebumen Job Fair & PMI Expo 2026 on June 24-26 in Kebumen Regency, Central Java, to open overseas job access for Indonesian talent. The event at Pendopo Kabumian and the regional secretariat hall is aimed at prospective Indonesian migrant workers, vocational high school students, university students and residents who want to enter the global labor market. Kemenko PM Deputy Leontinus Alpha Edison said labor demand in Japan and Germany is rising, mainly because of aging populations. Opportunities are available in manufacturing, elder care, hospitality and agriculture. Participants will receive information on safe migration, training, Japanese, Korean and German language classes, as well as job canvassing and matchmaking sessions with P3MI, job training institutions and test centers.
