Kemenkeu seeks 2027 budget ceiling of Rp49.8 trillion
The proposal matches the 2026 ceiling after efficiency cuts, with Rp45.52 trillion set aside for general services.
The Ministry of Finance proposed an indicative 2027 budget ceiling of Rp49.8 trillion in a working meeting with Commission XI of the DPR RI in Jakarta on Monday (15/6). Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the funds are aimed at maintaining fiscal stability, strengthening public services and supporting an inclusive and sustainable economic transformation. The package consists of Rp39.32 trillion in rupiah murni, Rp102.15 billion in PNBP and Rp10.38 trillion in BLU funds. By function, the largest share goes to general services at Rp45.52 trillion, followed by education at Rp3.99 trillion and the economy at Rp284.7 billion. Purbaya said the proposal is broadly in line with the 2026 ceiling after spending efficiency adjustments.
