Kemenhub launches ETLE Hub to monitor ODOL trucks at 51 sites

The network is targeted to expand to 78 monitoring points to support the zero ODOL policy by 2027.

The Ministry of Transportation has launched ETLE Hub to strengthen digital oversight of over dimension over loading (ODOL) trucks. Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan said the system is already installed at 51 monitoring points, consisting of 26 points at Unit Pelaksana Penimbangan Kendaraan Bermotor (UPPKB) and 25 points on several toll roads. Going forward, the coverage will be expanded to 63 points at UPPKB and 15 points based on Weigh In Motion (WIM). Kemenhub is preparing ETLE Hub as an integrated system that links vehicle identity and technical data, weighing results, periodic inspections, and transport permits. For overloading violations, the government is still issuing warnings as part of a socialization stage toward the zero ODOL target in 2027, while roadworthiness document violations will be handled under the regulations.
