Kemendagri speeds SP2D Online to hasten local funds disbursement
The program aims to speed withdrawals through RKUD and record them in SIPD RI to strengthen local government transparency.
The Ministry of Home Affairs is pushing to accelerate the rollout of Surat Perintah Pencairan Dana, or SP2D Online, to strengthen the electronicization of local government transactions. The issue was discussed at a coordination meeting at the Kemendagri office in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/6) with Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, Bank Indonesia, regional development banks, local governments, and other stakeholders. Director General of Regional Finance Agus Fatoni said SP2D Online is meant to speed up local budget disbursements while making financial management more transparent, accountable, and digitally integrated through SIPD RI. OJK is also involved to provide regulatory guidance, while management of the Regional General Cash Account continues to refer to UU Nomor 1 Tahun 2004, PP Nomor 12 Tahun 2019, and Permendagri Nomor 77 Tahun 2020.
