Kemendagri pushes Rp12.69 trillion Papua special funds with 5T
Kemendagri flagged SiLPA in several regions and is working with KPK on oversight of the 2026 phase II disbursement.
Kemendagri is urging that the second phase of Papua's Special Autonomy Fund for fiscal 2026 be disbursed under the 5T principles: tepat waktu, tepat sasaran, tepat jumlah, tepat penerima, and tepat penggunaan. Deputy Home Minister Ribka Haluk said the measure of success for the otsus fund is not just budget absorption, but its impact on the welfare of Papua residents. In a meeting at the Kemendagri office in Jakarta on Thursday (23/7), she also highlighted the continued presence of sisa lebih perhitungan anggaran, or SiLPA, in a number of regions, which risks being used outside its intended purpose. According to Antara, the Papua Otsus Fund allocation in 2026 reached Rp12.69 trillion for six provinces in Tanah Papua. Kemendagri said oversight will be strengthened through an interoperability system with Kementerian Keuangan, Bappenas, regional governments, and KPK.
