Kemendagri holds Batch II awards for top local governments in Java-Bali
Batch II now weighs four fields, including the 3 million homes program, across six regions, with a possible Batch III ahead.
Kementerian Dalam Negeri again held the 2026 Batch II Apresiasi Pemerintah Daerah Berprestasi to encourage the performance and innovation of local governments. For the Java-Bali region, the event took place at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Badung, Bali. Batch II uses four assessment categories: access to and quality of health services, residents’ access to education services, implementation of the 3 million homes program, and waste management and a green environment. Kemendagri also involved Kementerian Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman in assessing the housing sector. Nationwide, this batch is divided into six regions: Sumatera, Jawa-Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku-Nusa Tenggara, and Papua. Tito Karnavian said a Batch III remains for regions that have not yet won an award.
