Kemendagri holds Batch II awards for Java-Bali local governments in Bali

The Ministry of Home Affairs held the 2026 Regional Government Achievement Awards Batch II for the Java-Bali region at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Badung Regency, Bali, on Friday, August 28. This second round assessed four areas: implementation of the 3 Juta Rumah Program, access to and quality of health services, residents' access to education services, and waste management and green environment efforts. According to Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian, the housing sector drew attention because the backlog remains around 30 million people who do not yet have a home or live in inadequate housing. Kemendagri also involved the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas; winners in the 3 Juta Rumah category may receive additional home rehabilitation quotas, in addition to Rp1 billion to Rp3 billion in fiscal incentives for each category winner.
