Kejagung to examine Sony next week, trace 26 names in MBG case
Investigators have not yet received evidence from Sony, leaving his justice collaborator request and the 26 names under review.
The Kejaksaan Agung has scheduled a review of former Badan Gizi Nasional deputy head Sony Sonjaya for next week to delve into his request for justice collaborator status in the alleged corruption case involving the 2025-2026 Program Makan Bergizi Gratis. Jampidsus investigation director Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi said investigators are also examining 26 names Sony mentioned in connection with the case. However, according to Kejagung, Sony has not handed over the evidence he says he has, so his account must still be tested against evidence already obtained by investigators. So far, Kejagung has named five suspects, including Dadan Hindayana, Lodewyk Pusung, Asep Yusuf Somantri, and Andri Mulyono. Investigators are focusing on alleged appointments of SPPG partners linked to BGN officials as well as procurement markups, including 21.801 electric motorcycles worth Rp1,03 triliun.
