Karang Taruna holds national retreat with 125 leaders
The three-day forum in Bogor Regency also includes community service, from school aid to clean water distribution.
The National Karang Taruna leadership held a Training of Trainers and a national retreat in Bogor Regency, West Java, opened by Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf and chairman Budisatrio Djiwandono. The event, which runs through 2 August, aims to align the organization’s direction, strengthen leadership capacity, and build solidarity among leaders from the central to the regional level. The retreat is attended by 107 national leaders and 18 provincial leaders. Organizers said participants also receive materials from speakers across ministries and take part in outbound activities to strengthen cooperation. On the sidelines of the agenda, Karang Taruna distributed school supplies to SDN Karangtengah 5 in Babakan Madang and delivered clean water to residents near the venue.
