JB Sentral rail service halts June 11 for RTS Link construction

Train service at Johor Bahru Sentral will be temporarily suspended on Thursday, June 11, to make way for truss-launching work on the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link project. Malaysia's rail operator, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad, said passengers on the EP9535 and EG9449 ETS services will continue their trips via an interim bus connection between Kempas Baru Railway Station and JB Sentral. KTMB said designated pickup and drop-off points will be set up at both stations, with staff and ambassadors on site to guide travelers. The operator apologized for the disruption and urged passengers to follow signage and staff instructions while the construction work is underway.
