Israeli strikes in Gaza kill at least 6 Palestinians
Deaths were reported in Gaza City, Jabalia, Khan Younis and Rafah as attacks continued despite a ceasefire said to be in effect since October 2025.
At least six Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. The attacks hit residential buildings, tents for displaced people and other civilian areas in several parts of Gaza as ground operations and artillery fire continued. In Gaza City, Mohammed Tayseer Obeid was killed after an Israeli drone struck an apartment in the Al-Taj building on Al-Yarmouk Street. Six other civilians, mostly women and children, were wounded. In northern Khan Younis, a drone strike also killed Anas Hamdan, a media official in Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, and wounded five people. Another strike hit a tent for displaced people in Al-Mina, while Israeli forces advanced in Al-Qarara and set up a new gate on Al-Rashid Street near Al-Mawasi, Rafah.
