Israeli strike destroys medical warehouse near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza

Local doctors said the storage site supporting hospital operations was obliterated, including supplies used for dialysis treatment.

An Israeli strike hit a medical supplies warehouse near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza Strip, on Saturday night, 1 August 2026. A doctor at the hospital, Khalil Al-Daqran, said the warehouse stored a range of operational supplies and was completely destroyed in the attack. Footage from the scene showed a large crater, along with debris, material and plastic scattered across the warehouse area. A displaced resident, Fatima Sharab, said the strike also damaged a civilian shelter area around the hospital. She said the site housed sick people, vulnerable groups and displaced families, and stored patient supplies, including equipment for kidney failure treatment for those undergoing dialysis.
