InJourney projects 5.46 million airport passengers during school break
Traffic at 37 airports is expected to rise 9.72 percent, with about 41,000 aircraft movements between June 29 and July 11.
InJourney Airports projects 5.46 million passengers will pass through the 37 airports it manages during the school holiday period of June 29-July 11, 2026. The figure is expected to rise 9.72 percent from normal 2026 levels, while aircraft movements are projected to reach about 41,000, up 6.25 percent. To prepare for the surge, the airport operator is arranging slot times, aircraft movements on the apron, and staff readiness, including Aviation Security. On the service side, InJourney is running the Festive Event School Holiday campaign under the Sweet Departure theme. The family program is being held at seven airports, including Soekarno-Hatta, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Kualanamu, Juanda, Yogyakarta International Airport, Sultan Hasanuddin, and SAMS Sepinggan.
