The golds came from an all-Indonesian men’s singles final and from mixed doubles that beat a China pair.

Indonesia collected four medals at the BWF World Junior Championships 2026 at Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, on 12-17 October. The contingent brought home two golds, one silver and one bronze. The first gold came from an all-Indonesian men's singles final on 17 October, when Radithya Bayu Wardhana took the title and Fardhan Rainanda Joe finished with silver. The second gold was secured by mixed doubles pair Muhammad Luthfi Habibi/Dian Ramadhani Mukti after they defeated China representatives Feng Yi Lang/Li Meng Han. One bronze medal also came from the mixed doubles sector. The result adds to Indonesia's junior achievements and underscores the importance of sustained development at PBSI.
