Indonesia reaches 2026 AFF Women's final after 2-0 win over Singapura
Garuda Pertiwi will face Laos in Wednesday's final at 19.45 WIB after both goals came in the second half.
Indonesia's women's national team advanced to the final of the 2026 AFF Women's Championship after beating Singapura 2-0 in the semifinal at Kuala Lumpur Stadium, Malaysia, on Sunday. Satoru Mochizuki's team controlled the match from the start, but broke the deadlock only in the 68th minute when Gea Yumanda scored from the left side. Indonesia doubled the lead in the 80th minute when Remini Rumbewas headed in a corner from Felicia De Zeeuw. Singapura pressed harder late in the match, but Indonesia's back line held firm until the final whistle. With this result, Garuda Pertiwi will meet Laos, who eliminated Kamboja 1-0, in the final on Wednesday (22/7) at 19.45 WIB.
