Indonesia Ranks 7th in Global Crypto Adoption as Trades Rise 103%
Chainalysis says the surge requires real-time risk oversight, while Indodax has installed an on-chain compliance system.
Indonesia ranked seventh in the world for crypto asset adoption in 2025, according to the Chainalysis Global Crypto Adoption Index 2025. Crypto transaction value in Indonesia also jumped 103% year on year, placing the domestic market as the fourth largest in Asia by received transaction value. Against that growth, Chainalysis said the industry needs to strengthen compliance, security and risk monitoring. Indodax then partnered with Chainalysis to install Crypto Compliance solutions, which are used to monitor on-chain activity in real time, identify suspicious transactions, speed internal investigations and strengthen risk mitigation across the blockchain network.
