Indonesia Investment in First Half of 2026 Hits Rp1,010.6 Trillion
The total equals 49.5 percent of the 2026 target and created 1.45 million jobs, with downstreaming contributing Rp300.1 trillion.
Indonesia’s realized investment in the first half of 2026 reached Rp1,010.6 trillion, up 7.2 percent from the same period a year earlier. The figure, presented by Investment and Downstreaming Minister/BKPM Chief Rosan Roeslani, equals 49.5 percent of the 2026 investment target of Rp2,041.3 trillion and created 1,448,862 jobs. In a state address at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Friday (14/8), President Prabowo Subianto said investment continued to grow amid global uncertainty. Rosan added that in the second quarter of 2026, investment expanded 6.87 percent year on year and accounted for about 39 percent of national economic growth of 5.29 percent. Of the first-half total, downstreaming-sector investment reached Rp300.1 trillion, or 29.7 percent of the realized figure.
