IHSG opens up 0.73 percent to 6,448.83

The gain was supported by Indonesia's 6 percent economic growth target for 2027 as markets also weighed global sentiment.

The IHSG on the Indonesia Stock Exchange opened Tuesday up 46.94 points, or 0.73 percent, at 6,448.83, while the LQ45 index rose 2.83 points, or 0.45 percent, to 635.11. The advance extended gains from the previous session and came as market participants assessed both domestic and global sentiment. At home, the market reacted to Indonesia's 6 percent economic growth target for 2027 and a Rp2.322 trillion investment realization target. Abroad, markets were pressured by rising crude oil prices amid little progress in resolving the Middle East conflict. Tensions between the United States and Iran, including over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, were seen keeping the risk of energy supply disruptions elevated.
