I.League rates 20 Championship clubs' stadiums, final call pending
PSBS Biak still has no home venue, while several clubs have proposed backup stadiums or renovation plans.
I.League released the results of its stadium infrastructure assessment for the 20 clubs entered in the Championship 2026/27 in the 2025/26 Club Licensing Cycle. The findings will be used as the basis for planning next season's second-tier competition, but they are not yet the final decision on which stadiums will be used once the league starts. I.League chief executive Ferry Paulus said the assessment covered a range of infrastructure requirements to support safe and professional matches. Several clubs submitted more than one stadium, including Semen Padang FC and Sumsel United, while some participants included renovation commitments. In the list announced, PSBS Biak still has no home stadium listed. Clubs that played in the Super League last season, including Persis Solo, PSIS Semarang, PS Barito Putera, and Persipura Jayapura, were also included. The next stage is further verification, operational inspection, and compliance with competition regulations.
