Hunter Biden said the cancer had metastasized to his father’s bones “and further,” calling the condition “very painful” and “very debilitating in many respects.” Biden, 83, disclosed in May 2025 that he had an aggressive form of prostate cancer. He later underwent hormone treatment and radiation therapy. Despite the illness, Hunter Biden said his father is still appearing at speaking engagements. Jill Biden said in June that the disease and medications had slowed him down and made daily life harder.
