Hotman Paris Represents Febrie in Kejagung Asabri Case
Kejagung also opened three new probes after taking over cases from police, covering Asabri, PT Krakatau Steel and PLN coal procurement.
Attorney Hotman Paris Hutapea said he had received power of attorney to represent former Special Crimes Junior Attorney General Febrie Adriansyah, who was questioned at the Kejaksaan Agung’s Bundar building on Friday. Hotman came to Kejaksaan Agung to confirm the summons for his client’s questioning. On the same day, Kejaksaan Agung Legal Information Center chief Anang Supriatna said Febrie was questioned as a suspect in an alleged corruption and money laundering case tied to PT Asabri. Kejaksaan Agung also issued three new investigation warrants after taking over the cases from police, each linked to PT Krakatau Steel, coal procurement for PLN’s power plants that was said to trigger a blackout, and the Asabri case. In addition to Febrie, investigators also named Don Ritto, from the private sector, as a suspect in money laundering.
